We are actively seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of Enterprise Architect for a U.S. International Development Financial Corporation program.

Job Summary:

The Enterprise Architect will provide Enterprise Architecture support to ensure DFC OIT systems and services are designed and implemented in alignment with approved architectural principles, standards, and roadmaps. Support current-state and future-state architecture development including the building and maintenance of test and development (ie sub-production) environments, which will be used for configuration and feature testing across the DFC OIT environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support development and maintenance of logical and physical architecture diagrams (for all environments, production & sub-production), with periodic updates to support annual system assessments
  • Ensure architectural alignment across cloud, network, identity, and on-premises components
  • Identify and propose solutions for architectural risks, gaps, and technical debt
  • Provide architecture recommendations aligned with Zero Trust principles
  • Support solution design activities for new systems, enhancements, and modernization initiatives. Engineering designs shall be reviewed to ensure security, scalability, maintainability, and operational readiness.
  • Support development and maintenance of technical standards and reference architectures to promote consistency and reduce risk across DFC OIT environments.
  • Coordinate with Operations teams to ensure designs are supportable, as part of established Operational Readiness Review (ORR)
  • Ensure standards align with Federal and DFC security requirements
  • Ensure security and Zero Trust principles are embedded into all architecture and design activities.
  • Develop and follow a strict Operational Readiness Review process to ensure that all new functionality and processes are production ready, and the O&M teams are ready to migrate new functionality and processes into production
